Netball shoes are specifically designed for the multidirectional forces and continual stop start actions of netball.
They have light weight midsoles to reduce weight, without reducing comfort. They also have reinforced uppers to reduce the likelihood
of having to replace them mid-season. Each individual netball shoe works differently. This means each one will suit certain foot types better than others.
One of the most common sports
injuries involving netball players is an
ankle sprain. A contributing risk
factor to this happening is worn out
footwear or inappropriate footwear.
If not rehabilitated properly, the
ankle can become weak and more
susceptible to recurrent ankle sprains
(up to 70% more likely)....Ouch! That’s a lot of sideline time.
